Nope,was never there either,but remember the days very well. Dez was lucky enough to be there then and I know he feels the same way glitter does. That doesnt exist anymore..anywahere [img]frown.gif[/img] But andy mentioned that BFS song "1985" and when it first came out my kids were listening to it and called my attention to it and I said,yeah thats my anthem. My 14 y/o said,"Mom no way,you are so cool,you are so rock and roll!!! :::snnniifff::: lol,but anyway,yeah,it definitely leaves me feeling nostalgic. Miss those days even though it was nothing like L.A. here.

i think it's funny that everyone mentions the song "1985".
I bought that album the very day after I wrote this and I just found out that Bowling For Soup is going to play at a club here October 30th and get this,
It's come dressed for the 80s!

So I am going to tease my hair, put on the lipstick and platform boots, flashy jewelry, and be the total throwback I have always been.

Funny how it's still comfortable to put on though I'm 34 (GASP!) years old...

Luckily you can't buy the WHAM "Choose life" Shirts again, I swore to myself if I ever saw anyone wearing one of those again I was going to piss on 'em, even got a very large friend to agree to hold 'em down whilst doing so...HEH HEH HEH
